I was born in Adelaide, South Australia on January 22 1985. I picked up the acoustic guitar at six, started electric when I was eleven and left school at 15 to focus on writing songs and performing because that was all I wanted to do. I have been playing in different bands since I was 14 around Adelaide and my first support show was for Steve Vai when I was 15.I had the opportunity to meet and jam with Carlos Santana when I was 18 in my hometown. He invited me to get up and jam with him at soundcheck then later asked me if I would join him on stage that night to jam! It was an awesome experience to meet and jam with my idol...dreams really do come true! I have signed with Geffen records and I am living in LA and making my new record. I have had some amazing things happen this year, I jammed with Prince, toured with Steve Vai, made a video clip for Panasonic HD, had a song on the Bratz movie, played at the Eric clapton Crossroads festival and appeared in the New York Times buisiness section promoting Eco-friendly acoustic guitars. I am really looking forward to touring again with the new record and thanks for everyones emails and support..I really appreciate it..;) Peace and love Orianthiwow. shes only one year older than i am. And shes already played with Steve vai..Prince..and CARLOS SANTANA! Getting to meet and jam backstage with Santana is one thing..but the man himself actually asking her to do a live performance with him in front of 15 thousand people- that very same night after meeting her! And she says in an interview (PRS website) that he didnt even tell her what songs he was going to play beforehand. they turned out to be new songs which she didnt know and she had to just wing it onstage. its not so much the famous people that amazes me (though yeah thats pretty dam amazing too) but its her skill and her single-minded pursuit of it. She's at that level where she shares the same stage as guitar legends.

Suddenly i feel like quitting school too. heh. And moving to another country.
